Is it just me?

I'd appreciate some comments on this to see whether this is considered socially acceptable and I'm just being a miserable bastard:
A couple of minutes ago I was sat at my desk at work, working funnily enough, and I could see one of the cleaners going desk to desk with a form asking for money.  Now I really hate this in the street, and it pisses me off when I'm bothered for money in the pub, but at work?  I come to work, call me crazy, to work.  I'll have a chat and a laugh if there's anything going on, but I don't expect emotional blackmail to send a child to Disneyland.  When I saw her heading in my direction I would have left my desk and gone for a piss but I'd only just been.  So she approached me and like some kind of weak minded fool I signed away £1 of my "hard earned" money.  What a fucking bitch.  Once she'd left the office I looked around my colleagues to gauge opinion... absolutely none.  Looks as though they were ok with it, or maybe they're all posting to their owns blogs in blind fury at the outrage.
